Following the success of the last edition in March 2023 at Villa Fenaroli in Rezzato (BS) On Saturday, November 11, and Sunday, November 12, 2023, the halls and galleries of Villa Fenaroli will once again be filled with the atmosphere of days gone by with the new fall edition of REMEMBER VINTAGE, the exhibition and market dedicated to vintage items, modern antiques, design, handmade goods, and vintage collectibles, which will allow thousands of Brescia residents to take a trip down memory lane.
An event that in past editions has sparked the usual great interest among vintage enthusiasts and beyond, with consistently high attendance over the two days of the event.
After all, how can one not admire the garments of the greatest designers who still inspire style and fashion today, because the cycles of fashion are like the waves of the sea—they always return.
So here we have tulle petticoats, the soft pleats of circle skirts, or the “bon ton” micro-scarves to drape over bare shoulders and cover the plunging necklines of form-fitting dresses, micro-handbags with handles, or long gloves that exude sensuality.
A market exhibition in the halls of this prestigious 18th-century mansion, featuring the best in vintage clothing and accessories, modern antiques, decorative items, period furniture, handmade crafts, and remakes, with exhibitors from all over Italy.
On Saturday afternoon, a new show featuring dance schools titled FOREVER DANCE “Dance, Don’t Stop” at the Scalabrini Theater, curated by Raffy Angel Show.
On Sunday afternoon, also at the Scalabrini Theater, the fashion show THE FABULOUS 50s. The event will conclude with the selection, by a qualified jury, of the Misses who, with grace and charm, have best interpreted and represented the beauty, smiles, and elegance of those years. Artistic directors and curators of the Fashion Show are Lara di Bernardo and Raffaella Rubagotti, with the participation of the Christian Hubman Association.
A Hair Styling & Makeup Corner, hosted by Clorofilla Hair Flower’s and Miss Violet Hurricane, will be open to the public, where you can complete your 1950s look with a flower in your hair, along with a hairstyle and makeup specifically inspired by that era.
As always, the villa’s courtyard and garden will feature a retro DJ set and an American car show on both days. On Sunday, there will also be a photo shoot—strictly adhering to a “Happy Days”-themed dress code—organized by Lady Sissi and loziOne Ferdy, with the Crazy Girls descending the villa’s staircase to the tunes of Elvis, Buddy Holly, and Little Richard, and featuring Gaetano Swing Singer. A singer and entertainer who will perform live with his repertoire from the ’50s and surrounding era, bringing back the great classics from Frank Sinatra to Paul Anka and Luis Prima
A successful event that once again demonstrates that unbreakable bond with the past, which remains intact to this day and allows those who did not experience those times to savor the atmosphere of those unforgettable years.
A magical weekend steeped in nostalgia—a chance to enjoy a unique and safe getaway in this wonderful vintage setting!
Admission is €8 for adults, with a ticket valid for a single day and the option to re-enter the event on the same day; reduced admission is €6 for teens under 18; admission is free for children under 12; and our canine friends are also welcome, provided they are kept on a leash.
